Grand Cherokee Hybrid Exterior
The exterior of the Grand Cherokee 4xe is available in six different eye-catching colours. The vehicle rides on 18-inch aluminum wheels in two different styles. The elegant-appearing front end features Jeep's iconic rectangular slotted grille, bordered by rectangular headlights. For 2022, the SUV is available in the Limited, the Trailhawk, the Overland, the Summit, and the Summit Reserve trim levels. Trailhawk 4xe models have protective undercarriage skid plates and red tow hooks on the front. The vehicle also has unique badges. Overland 4xe models add a dual-pane electronically powered sunroof, a power liftgate, and rain-sensing wipers. Summit 4xe models have a black roof and ride on 21-inch wheels.
Grand Cherokee Hybrid Interior
The interior of the 2022 Grand Cherokee 4xe provides upscale comfort and convenience. The three-row SUV is upholstered in a combination of Capri leather and suede. The front and rear seats have heating elements, while the front seats have cooling ventilation. The steering wheel is also heated. In this way, you and your passengers remain cozy year-round. Front-row passengers also have power-adjustable seats. You can store your seats, side mirrors, and radio settings with the memory system integrated into the Grand Cherokee 4xe. The upholstery in the Overland models is upgraded to include perforated Nappa leather trim. The Summit trim comes with front-seat power massaging technology. All seating is covered in Nappa leather with quilted Nappa leather bolster supports. The elite Summit Reserve models have Palermo leather upholstered interiors with headliners and pillars covered in suede. Walnut wood trims the dashboard, doors, and centre console.

USB ports in the front and rear rows enable occupants to keep their devices charged. You get a 10.25-inch full-colour instrument display. The infotainment system in entry-level Limited models has an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5 NAV connectivity and integrated smartphone technology. There is also a premium, nine-speaker Alpine stereo. A system having a 10.1-inch touchscreen is an option, and it comes standard starting at the Summit level. Summit Reserve passengers enjoy concert-quality sound secondary to the standard premium 19-speaker stereo. You might like the addition of a 10-inch heads-up display. The technology lets you customize the vehicle's information while keeping your eyes on the road. Standard safety features include automatic emergency braking, a rear-view camera, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure alerts, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assistance. The Summit trim gains driver alert monitoring, intersection collision mediation, and semi-autonomous driving technology.
All-New Grand Cherokee 4xe Power and Performance
The Grand Cherokee 4xe is powered by a four-cylinder, 2.0-litre turbocharged gas engine, two electric motors, and a 17-kWh battery pack. The system puts out 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle also has an eight-speed automatic transmission and Jeep's Quadra-Trac II 4WD technology. The electric motors and battery pack enable the Grand Cherokee 4xe to travel up to 40 kilometres when fully charged. 2022 Grand Cherokee 4xe models can also capably haul up to 6,000 pounds.
